KEY GOALS
- Establishment, development, maintenance, publication and continuous improvement of national standards;
- Dissemination of information on standards and technical Regulations;
- Establishment, development and maintenance of a system for quality control and quality assurance of goods and services;
- Establishment of a national metrology system;
- Setting up a competent and accredited system of certification;
- Provision of competent and accredited testing services;
- Increase technical capacity and skills for industrialists;
- Implement human resource development
- Establishment and maintenance of infrastructure for proper functioning of the Bureau;
- Set up mechanism for revenue collection to supplement the Government budget allocated to the Bureau.
