Certification Process

The following are three main steps for organic certification

Application, this will include payment of a fee, a commitment by the producer to follow the relevant standards. At this step, the producer will provide an extensive description of the production unit.
Inspection: a visit to the site will be conducted to verify that the production follows the standards and is consistent with the declaration of the producer.
Evaluation of the inspection result and the formulation of a certification decision. Certification team often identifies a number of corrective actions to be taken by the operator.
Issuing of certificate.
Annual renewal of certification
