Inspection Procedures for Agricultural and Livestock Certification (ALC)
ALC provides inspection services to farmers whereby products are inspected to ensure that they comply with the predetermined specifications. Beside these specifications Agricultural and Farming systems are assessed based on Good Agricultural Practices, Good Harvesting Practices, Handling, Transport and Storage Practices.
Since the ALCU scope covers fresh products for local and export markets, inspection services, in case of products to be exported, ensure product compliance to export market standards.
Aspects considered during inspection
