Consumers

The majority of Rwandan citizens are unsuspecting consumers. They are therefore exposed to the risks related to health, safety, security and environment.

Health and safety of consumers therefore is the primary concern of QAU. This is achieved through inspections (import, industrial and market surveillance).
In collaboration with RRA, RPD, and other stake holders, substandard products, counterfeits and other banned products are removed from Rwandan markets.
